Terms of Service

ISH Collective Pty Ltd t/as Inspiring Skin Health  |  Last updated: June 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and your engagement with Inspiring Skin Health's services. Please read them carefully. By booking a service, using this website, or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms.

1. About Inspiring Skin Health

Inspiring Skin Health is operated by ISH Collective Pty Ltd (ABN 7 642 904 998), a skin health practice based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Our services include advanced skin consultations, skin therapy treatments, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and medical-grade product recommendations delivered by Lauren Stevens, a qualified skin clinician.

2. Services

The services described on this website are intended for adult clients seeking professional skin health care. We offer personalised, clinician-led treatment — each appointment is tailored to the individual based on a thorough skin assessment and ongoing client history.

Results from treatments vary between individuals. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes and do not make representations that our services will produce a particular result. What we do commit to is skilled, considered, and evidence-informed care.

Inspiring Skin Health does not provide medical diagnosis, prescribe medication, or substitute for the care of a registered medical practitioner. If you have a medical skin condition, we may recommend you seek advice from a general practitioner or dermatologist in conjunction with your care here.

3. Bookings and appointments

Appointments may be made via our website, booking system, phone, or email. Bookings are confirmed once you receive a confirmation notification from us.

We ask that you arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time to avoid affecting other clients. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment, and the cancellation terms below will apply.

Please advise us of any changes to your health, skin concerns, medications, or allergies before each appointment, even if you have shared this information previously. Accurate health information allows us to provide safe and effective care.

4. Cancellations and rescheduling

We respectfully request a minimum of 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to offer your appointment time to another client.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, or where a client does not attend without notice, may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service fee. Repeated short-notice cancellations or no-shows may result in a requirement to pay a deposit to secure future bookings, or, in exceptional circumstances, withdrawal of booking privileges.

We understand that genuine emergencies arise. Where circumstances are exceptional, we will exercise discretion and consider these situations individually.

5. Fees and payment

Service fees are set out on our website and are subject to change. The fee applicable to your appointment will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Payment is due at the time of service unless a pre-paid package or deposit arrangement has been agreed in advance. We accept payment by direct transfer and credit/debit card.

Pre-paid packages and gift vouchers are non-refundable except as required under the Australian Consumer Law. Package credits and vouchers are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated, in accordance with Queensland gift card legislation.

6. Health disclosure and your responsibility

Safe skin treatment depends on accurate, up-to-date health information. You agree to disclose all relevant medical history, current medications, known allergies, skin conditions, and recent cosmetic or medical procedures before commencing treatment.

Failure to disclose relevant health information may affect the safety or effectiveness of your treatment. Inspiring Skin Health is not liable for adverse outcomes arising from information you did not disclose.

If at any point during a treatment you experience discomfort, please advise your clinician immediately. Your comfort and safety are the priority.

7. Contraindications and treatment refusal

We reserve the right to decline, modify, or discontinue a treatment where we determine that proceeding would not be appropriate — for example, where a contraindication is identified, where health information has not been provided, or where the condition of your skin indicates that a different approach is warranted. In these cases we will explain our reasoning and, where possible, recommend an appropriate alternative.

8. Consent to treatment

By proceeding with a booking and attending your appointment, you confirm that you consent to the treatment agreed at consultation. Informed consent for specific treatments may be confirmed through a written or verbal agreement at the time of your appointment. You may withdraw consent at any time during a treatment.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). You are entitled to a refund or other remedy if a service is not provided with due care and skill, or does not meet the description or purpose discussed with you at booking.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the supply of services is limited to the resupply of those services, or the cost of having them resupplied. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
